Where did I say that? It's actually quite rare.

Each month we will host the Escort of the Month Competition, a competition whereby each review an escort receives for the month will have a points value, and the escort with the highest points value at the end of the month will be declared the winner!
The winner of the Escort of the Month (EOTM) Competition will receive up to one month of free advertising (terms and conditions apply) and will receive extra exposure on the forums.
As with all competitions, there are rules to ensure that everything is fair:
For each review submitted, a star ratings given for each area of the review will have a points value. The higher the outcome for each area selected, the more points that review will be worth. The escort with the highest points value by the end of the month will be declared the winner.
The month that the escort is announced the winner will be the winner based on the points totalled from the previous month; i.e. 'Miss September' is calculated from the reviews submitted in August, and so on. Reviews will only count when a) the reviewer has held a message boards account for six months and b) their reviews will only be counted from their tenth review.
If a client resubmits a review for an escort that they have already visited, only their first review will have a points value. In any event, the new review will always replace the old review.
If we believe that a review is fake, we may disqualify an escort from the competition for the month. If there are more serious cases of cheating, we may disqualify escorts from all future competitions.
Escorts cannot win the competition two consecutive months. In the event of an escort receiving the highest points a second month in a row, the person in second place will take the winning spot.
Reviews that are submitted from a masked (proxified) or hidden/non-UK IP address will be deleted.
Once the winner has been announced for a particular month, any review points that are received for that month thereafter will not be counted or carried over into the next month.

    Good luck girls...
With the law change here in the North I think it is irresponsible to encourage high volume. Would it not be better to encourage overall quality?

Don't worry, I know I'm wasting my breath. You carry on promoting high volume, after all that is what it's about

TBF that is only for 6 counties - the other 26 are still the same as before and one of them has more ladies advertising than the 6 in the North put together!

Quality or quantity has nothing to do with the law change. You seem keen on eotm to change to suit how you work.

There seems to be a lot of kudos built up around this, with the achievement having been to have met a lot of clients in one month that review. This also means meeting a lot of new clients, as when you meet the same client again, they can still review you, but it does not add to your list. They also need to be someone who has reviewed quite a lot themselves, as they get a number score.

For me and the way I work, I rarely see more than 3 clients a day and working on the fact that maybe one in every ten clients will be a reviewer, then it's a chance I may get a review every 3 days if I was seeing all new clients.

Then take into consideration that most of the clients that I see are repeat bookings and most of those clients are not likely to review again this further diminishes chances of getting a review.

For me this is a double edged sword. I am perfectly happy with the way I work. I love seeing the same clients and having regulars and wouldn't have that any other way. I am also very happy with my average of 3 bookings in a working day. I recently met 6 in one day and pretty much had the day off the next day, as I was knackered! (I actually accepted one booking the next day), so didn't really do much different to 3 in a day when you look at it that way. Anyway, my point is...

Why is it all hemmed on seeing new people and high volume? Is there not an alternative way to show that someone is good at what they do? Maybe with this new star system it could be that after they have had a certain amount of reviews if they have 99% or higher they get a different coloured star to show their consistent, long term success?

Seeing as we're making changes and all, just thought it might be a nice idea to throw that out there

There are many of us working to a very high standard that never get any recognition, because we don't play the numbers game.
    Oh my .

    I would call having a steady loyal clientele , men returning with a smile time and time again (then leaving with an even bigger smile ) ;

: Lovely men consistently and continuously keeping on coming back , keep picking one as their companion (me going as far back as my first week 'on the job' in 2011 ...)

I'd call that recognition and reward .

What meaningless bauble to clutter a profile and my life to have 'official recognition' for my "achievements" ?!

    A needy heart -- such a liability .

Kate , reading it , seems you want a pat on the back for doing your job as your job should be done .

You are good at what you do . Obviously .

Just knowing it ... is that not enough ??

If you have as much business as you wish for ( 3x / day ) , what the heck do you need a shiny silver thing for

for you xxx you have a hunger that will never be sated xx

(and I'm not trying to be mean x just saying it as I see it)

Most know on here that I personally am not a big fan of receiving reviews and regularly tell guys not to bother unless now and again to keep my reviews current, as I like to be private about who I see and mainly like yourself only see regulars or advertise for reviewed only (this is not to get a review but for safety reason and saves time)

So if a different star color system was introduced my total 5 star rating would be a different color to some one who has got more reviews than me leaving guys to over look me because they think my stars are not as good as the more reviewed girl,, and also girls who work part time who have a good 5 star rating based on lesser reviews would be in the same position.

If girls want to see lots of guys and get lots of reviews that's up to them, but not to have a more prestigious star color for it.
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

Another person who can't read? Who said anything about change? I was talking about in addition

The law does have an impact for sure it does. Do you think increasing traffic to your door is not going to get noticed? So my 3 during the working day while no one else is around to notice, is no different to someone working through out the day and evening to get as many in as possible? Please remember that not everyone reviews. For each one that does, likely there are 8 that don't.

It seems to me that some people just don't like the idea of acknowledging a different way of working that also has it's merits. It's not about EOTM being wrong, it's about the fact that it's not the only way to judge performance and acknowledging the other ways for what they have to offer too.

Some people agree with me and some don't. You are never going to please everyone, but I do object to people putting words in my mouth!
