I read some where that it's because some of the inactive or banned users weren't brought over to the new system, and if they had reviews then they weren't either, so wouldn't be included in your review total.
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

Yeah! My count went up as well but I think it had something to do with either reviews of girls who later opted out of the review system or reviews that were deleted!And I have gained a review without reviewing an escort.!!!!!!!!!
I had one review deleted as it was submitted too late and I had 2 reviews previously taken away when the girls opted out of the review system.
However this thread was about escorts losing their reviews - I would imagine their review count would mean a lot more to them that the count total beside a punters name.
