it takes a while to understand the new layout. You can compare it to a new city your are navigating on holidays, it doesn't take too long to familiarise yourself with it.

Sorry if some of the Dev team are taking negative feedback a bit personally... I couldn't blame them really, with some of the reactions above.

But - and this is a big but - unfortunately, they're not going to like this either. I've been on the internet since before the WWW, all the way back to bulletin boards via a 1200baud modem. This new EI site is one of the worst I've ever seen, worse even than MySpace or GeoCities. What's with the HUGE photos? The navigation is awful. And the map idea was just dreadful. The reaction to urgent comment that it was putting escorts in danger was completely inadequate. If I was an advertiser and spending hard-earned money, I'd be gone over that issue alone. Immediately and permanently.

For God's sake lads, take some feedback on board and have a rethink. Fixing a few bugs isn't going to fix a fundamental site design problem.

I very much doubt that any one on DevTeam cares a jot about the reaction to their 'Something Big Happened' Disaster.
I would go as far as to say, I doubt that anyone in EI cares about the fiasco that is the NEW Wesbite, because if they did,
they wouldn't have allowed it to go live, and stay live for the last 10 days, with so many bugs & imperfections(and that's being polite)

A Conspiracy Theorist might suggest that the Huge Photos are a deliberate act to distract and con the masses that only think with their dick.
It is much more difficult to notice the non-verified profiles, and fake picture reports, with the new design, which suits EI's purpose to perfection.

I agree, but u can't stand still in business. U can click to view the site in the old format at the top of the page.
There is a lot more work needed to get the website to flow correctly.

Cobblers. Its not a matter of standing still, improve by all means, but don't implement half arsed changes using live data on the paying users at their expense.
Look at the market leaders in the UK and see what they have done. Adultwork has barely changed its layout since it started up must be 15 years ago. And Punternet still use off the shelf vBulletin successfully. Incremental changes only.

I think it's a step back....too slow to use...over complicated.Simplicity and speed of use should be the theme not clutter.
Don't know what they were thinking but then again you don't have to think too much when you have a virtual monopoly.But monopolies cause complacency and arrogance and can eventually bite you in the ass.
I would say most of the users on this site are 'hit and run' and don't hang around or interact with the forums so it could lead to less traffic.
Anyway time will tell....but I know that I now visit less and can't see that changing.

I fell so sorry for you frustration... Because I know you so well, I understand your point of view! And... I could not hold my self to write a few lines. since the "new design" was put online I did not comment anything about it.. but.....here I go.. maybe they will ban me for that! hahaha!

Do not get so disappointed.. its not only you who is getting frustrated, Yesterday I had a visit of a long time regular who asked if I don't reviews anymore.. because he did not find my reviews (just a example among many others who are asking me basic information because they can't easily find it anymore)
The "dev team" should know that many (the majority IMO) of CLIENTS are not computer literates... many don't even use a computer to access this site.... many don't have TIME TO WASTE LEARNING HOW TO FIND BASIC INFO... The "dev team" should get things easier to them...
Many of CLIENTS don't care about the "looking of this website" they just need to find the correct escort to them.. by looking at our profiles. pics and reviews... and PHONE NUMBER which one until few days ago was hidden... luckily someone fixed that ridiculous thing.

The new site was made by/for a handful users.................... well shut up me.......

99% of my friends who visit me in a regular basis are not EI users.. as I said.. all they need is easy to find basic info.. and that's all.

I cant TOTALLY say the "dev team" did a bad job.. there are a few things i liked... but this things are for escorts only.. I.e. the new Payment system, it's easier now.
but you CLIENTS don't care about this, do you???.. as I said already... you need only easy to find info!

Unfortunately, WE ALL need to get used to the "new" website because it's definitive now... so maybe with time we will get it...lol... Don't you think?

I generally do not over react to change,that was why i waited for some time to explore the new site.
I love a new car with all the changes and new features but i like to be able to enjoy and use them.

I will give it time but i hope i have not to continue on a detour every time i am looking for a specific area.
