I've been away for a couple of days & come back to this. I received a text from M & C yesterday evening & only catching up with it now.

Secondly, I have some experience of our Gardai & they first assess how much you know & then lie, lie & lie if they think you don't know the law. I can sense a panic, a fear from you (perfectly normal if you've not had dealings with them before) & they would have sensed that too. They then preyed on that & frightened you. I don't believe independent ladies working & selling their time is illegal here. There is a small question only because there is 2 of you. They may try & suggest that you are running a brothel if there is more than 1 person. I would be very surprised if they press any charges or take it any further. They know that you will then employ a solicitor who knows the law & it wouldn't stick then.

You need to speak to as many people as you can that you trust. This will help you to put some perspective to all of this. I can remember being arrested about 20 yrs ago & the Gardai saw my fear right away, they really did a number on me. Then when I was released on bail I spoke to a lot of people & realised that I'd been fed a load of shit by the Gardai.
