This is a huge slap in the face for sex work haters worldwide, but particularly here, with the historic vote being taken in Dublin itself. This decision is based on years of research and consultation with sex workers, making it a huely important landmark.
Perhaps Fitzgerald now realises that sex worker rights and safety are actually more important than the fact that she doesn't approve of sex work. Perhaps she can see why Westminster and Scotland rejected the failed Swedish Model last year. Maybe she realises that Amnesty know way more about the subject than she ever will. Nobody should hold their breath though.
2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO
