    The black hair and Spanish looks that some are supposed to have didn't come with the armada either.
    It is most likely a legacy of the genetics of the early Irish.
    The farther East in Ireland you come from , the more likely you are to be carrying some Viking, Norman, English genetics.
    And in time to come their will be a significant Eastern European input to the Irish, cause a lot of them are staying.
