Why do you assume that is what is happening? I was involved with BDSM years before I became a Sex Worker. I had friends that lived the life and gave me books that they used to start them off and I've seen it happen in many forms. In fact I probably have more background knowledge in BDSM than I do as a Sex Worker, as I've predominantly worked a lone. I believe many of the Dominatrix that are here at the moment are also well versed with what they are doing, with some coming from medical backgrounds etc.

Personally when I do domination it is more about mind games than pain.
