Got a few special occasions to attend this year so it's time for a new suit!!!
Anyone recommend designers, tailors or shops for some good quality suits that make me look like I own the place!?!?!

What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

You should give Dorian Black a try, they've some nice suits, and not you M&S or Next style.
I've a few from there and always get a complement from the Judge

Go somewhere nice, where they have a large selection of suits, you can try on a few and usually the people working there have quite a good eye to reccommend you what suits you best. Or take a skilled lady friend with you when shopping. Somewhere like House of Fraiser for example, it's very likely to find something you like. Small boutiques are good too but they may not always have a big variety to chose from, in case you are a bit fussy.

like the lady above mentioned. Go somewhere nice, close your eyes and shout "suit me up" and when you open your eyes again you will have a nice suit and a smaller bank account

I really like grey suits on man, however stupid other half refuse to listen to me, happy with navy blue...such an old school twat he is
Depends on your budget, but these brands are top quality:
-Brioni
-Canali
-Boss
-Zegna
Someone special likes Louis Copland, shopping there quiet often.
Good bye Ireland!

Hi, I'm a lurker and punter for a year but this subject interests me so I registered.
You should probably give an idea of your budget age and build but without those
You won't go wrong with Tom Ford and although Ozwald Boateng gets a bad reputation I have a couple of his suits that I really like. Mid range price, Paul Smith, and again Hugo Boss gets a bad rep but I like their cut. And even some Reiss suits look good
But the MOST IMPORTANT thing is how it fits!!!
The label means nothing if it's sloppy on you or bunching.
Sloppy baggy suits are just ridiculous but nowadays I think with the trend of very fitted suits a lot of men make mistakes the other way. That X at the front when they are buttoned, collar roll, ankles showing, too much shirt cuff, wrong sleeve pitch.
Fit is everything. It's worth having a look at the major flaws before you go shopping and have someone with you to check you out from the back and sides.
You want a shoulder that sings!
This page is worth reading or glancing at and I'll try to add a picture of the illustrations
