Thread: OWO, safe or not?

The main risks to consider for unprotected oral sex are

    Chlamydia (fertility risks)
    Gonorrhea (fertility risks)
    Syphilis

There is a small risk of Hepatitis B infection, so get the Hep B vaccination. It is 3 courses over a 1 year period.

The risk of HIV is unproven as saliva has virus destroying properties.

You might also consider getting the HPV vaccination too, but that applies to anyone sexual active.

Doubling up on condoms makes them less safe, not safer, as friction between condoms makes them more likely to rip or tear. Funny how too much safety sometimes can get the opposite result.

You're right, this guy is OCD.

The safest form of sex is no sex at all

Any kind of sexual practice carry some risk, from really low to major.

Even really low risk carrying activities could change into big risk activities if anything happens in between. A little nail scratch, some lipstick on the condom that could cause tiny holes in it, touching condoms with oily hands etc.

Heck, even sitting on some toilet could give you something if unluckly.

So, my advice, for everyone, just do what makes you happy and if you feel the risk is too big don't take it.
If you are someone that's always prone to get sick and get infection just stick to one regular partner or simply masturbate, you're very likely to catch something at some stage if you do otherwise. If your imune system is strong (like mine ), use your cop on for anything you do. Information about how STDs works and spread, wise decisions regarding partners and activities, together with a lot of doctor checks are usually working best for most people.

"Yes, there can be plenty of bugs lying in wait in public restrooms, including both familiar and unfamiliar suspects like streptococcus, staphylococcus, E. coli and shigella bacteria, hepatitis A virus, the common cold virus, and various sexually transmitted organisms. But if your immune system is healthy, and if you adopt simple hygienic measures like handwashing, you should be able to deliver a knockout punch to most of what you encounter and perhaps put your "germ-phobia" to rest.

No doubt about it, there could be a witch's brew of germs wherever you turn in public restrooms. Many people consider toilet seats to be public enemy No. 1 -- the playground for organisms responsible for STDs like chlamydia or gonorrhea. But before you panic, the toilet seat is not a common vehicle for transmitting infections to humans. Many disease-causing organisms can survive for only a short time on the surface of the seat, and for an infection to occur, the germs would have to be transferred from the toilet seat to your urethral or genital tract, or through a cut or sore on the buttocks or thighs, which is possible but very unlikely."

Taken from the net. It's not as high risk as some people think it is but there is a risk. If someone infected sat on your sit right before you, as those germs cannot survive too long on a sit, if you are a bit unlukly or have any open cuts, you could get them. A little like OWO I guess

P.S. Just adding that some of the things you can catch on a toilet sit are not always sexual but they could be too.

You can not catch an STI's from sitting on a toilet seat. Don't always believe what you read on the internet, question the accuracy of the source.

Skin infections such as Staph, i suppose is technically possibly, albeit unlikely. Shigella is acquired faeco-orally so I wouldnt worry unless you have some kind toilet seat licking fetish!!

Don't believe what ? We are saying almost the same thing , just in different words, that there is some form of a risk.

I use the toilet sit example to emphasize that most things carry some form of a risk, from really low to really big, even normal day activities, so it's up to us to be informed and chose what to do. I'm not debating now the merits of sitting on a loo

I agree with the principle that many things carry risk. What I'm talking about it that you said "P.S. Just adding that some of the things you can catch on a toilet sit are not always sexual but they could be too." Respectfully, Amy, what I'm telling you is that you can't catch a sexually transmitted infection from a toilet seat. We are not saying the same thing!
