Just thought wouldn't be fair to him to call myself Michael Dee. So John would be the closest version to my name. Job done.

I got my name through an inability to interpret both the French and English languages literally as a renowned Professor of Semantics and Etymology on here ,repeatedly keeps telling me, ad nauseum.

Oh man, you couldn't just leave it in the other thread? FFS, ok then.

For anyone that is wondering what the great 'Nonpareil' is even on about please allow me to enlighten.

In a seperate thread, this monumental dunderhead called me arrogant without considering the fact, that the word he has chosen for his own username literally means 'better than all others'.

Yes that's right, a guy who calls himself ''better than all others'' is calling people arrogant. Irony redefined.

Tried to fob people off then by saying it means 'different' in french but anyone with a dictionary can see the word means the very same in both languages.

I couldn't believe my luck when I realised my name was available to register, I thought I was going to have to enter a bidding war with an agency to get the name I wanted

You just go on and on.
I must be a broken man Sleveen.
Sadly Hiberno-English and the language that spawned it are in terminal decline.

Did you enjoy being shown up in the other thread so much that you wanted to carry it over here too?

LOL. Still having a good chuckle to myself at being called arrogant by you when your username literally translates as 'better than any other'.

As apt now as it was then.

An I really do love 69
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.
