Many nationalities/minorities suffer some form of racism at some point.
Generally it is uneducated idiots who throw an umbrella over a whole group of people based on colour,nationality,sexual orientation etc.
The most disturbing thing however is that certain groups or nationalities also receive it from people who are "educated".
Ireland/The Irish are stigmatised very often, and likewise (and to a worse degree) ,so too are Romanians.
On at least 2 occasions I have been working in England (And this is in NO way a generalisation) and people actually didn't know where Ireland was !.One thought I should have been able to drive straight from Dublin to London and didn't understand why I needed to fly or get the ferry...................the other person thought it was in between Wales and Scotland

They weren't rocket scientists obviously, but they worked in (1) A Bank and (2)A restaurant...................my point being that if their geography is so poor ,you cant expect them to be educated about any cultural points.
(Only an example....and im sure the further away you go the worse it can get...and I understand the above is a very extreme case of ignorance)

Rang a hotel in Cavan just there to book a room for the weekend.Was asked if my partner would be either (1)Scouse or (2) Ebony,and bombshell like.
Apparently those two minorities are banned since last week................and another Dundalk hotel just said the same.
No lesbian activity allowed apparently in either establishment.
