    Default Ashley Madison site hacked

Anybody seen this story? Does it affect anybody here? It would be a f**king disaster if something similar happened to this website!

    Story broke yesterday.
40,000 Irish users claimed (The Sun says 125,000)
And a million or so registered in Britain.
Same owners have a site "Established Men" (wealthy males /younger women) which may also be affected.
And another site for "cougars" in search of younger men which the owners say is not affected (a lot less activity on this site presumably :-)

    Could I suppose.
Here I presume you don't have personal details.
The problem on the A.M. site is credit card details. ..They had to pay something like £149 to register.
The hackers have stated some ideology against "cheaters/adultery"(if it is not some outright attempt at criminality).

No personal details here of any sort, but can hackers identify you by your IP address?

Wouldn't know, but I'd say they wouldn't go to the bother unless they could either get at someone either rich or famous.Random people on the Internet probably wouldn't be of too much interest. We might be giving them ideas.
