Background music during an appointment — is it a distraction or a turn on?

I usually have a music channel on the tv, pop or r'n'b and save the love/classic channels for sundays….

would you put on Emmerdale, Eastenders or Coronation St and use these as timers, once they are over out you go, Bit of Soapy sex like
