He should be charged as clearly he saw a foreign girl who was very vulnerable and scared and he took full advantage and it was a nasty and immoral thing to do

I agree! This is thee press trying to sensationalise a story.
If they actually did some proper investigative journalism some time they might learn the difference. They might also come to uncover the hypocrisy in the laws surrounding how escorts work and how the possible new legislation will only make things worse!

These are the same Gardaí who will be "protecting" us by criminalising our client. Jesus Christ. Raiding our work places and raping us? They sure have a funny way to showing it.

There are far too many attacks on working girls and it should not matter if the guy was a Guard or not he should have got a prison sentence for rape.
Anyone touching a person regardless make or female on a night out or in any other place if a person says no, it means NO, there are too many people here in Ireland who think its OK to touch a girl/lady/person up on a night out when they have had a few drink, and call it a bit of banter, its not banter its sexual assult anywhere else so why not here in Ireland too!
For a country who has made so many changes around the world in such a positive way such as the none smoking ban etc it is still far behind in such things as sexual assaults and rape.
We all have the right to go about our personal lives and work lives without the fear of being attacked!!!!

There are a lot of rotten apples, and bad eggs in the Guards.
I have no time what so ever for the Guards , if you are the victim of a minor crime in this country , e.g if you have property stolen on you or your house burgled , you might as well grin and bare it , because reporting to the guards is a fucking joke.
Once they put on that uniform to go to work the power trip commenses and the obnoxiousness begins.

Not surprised at all I have heard stories of a local garda who got a blowjob or some kind of sex act off a drunk women so she wouldn't be brought up for drunk driving and nights out one of my relatives said he came on to her friend really strong when she told him to fuck off ,he seems to think if hes a guard women have to suck his dick
Wolverine (12-07-15)
Yeah because girls usually have sex with gardai that had raided them earlier in the day. Total joke the gardia looking after there own here it seems.
Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die

Disgrace. Makes me upset how anyone can rape a woman.

All the more reason why this individual should be exposed.
However, I have no doubt that "certain organizations" (Ruhama, TORL etc) have taken note of this incident, and will possibly use this as "evidence" to "strengthen" their argument that if Swedish-style Legislation were in place, this incident would never have occurred
Odds against you?
