The problem is people are scared to take that risk, we say the PSNI are not enforcing it but they are very prominent on the streets from what I see but we just don't know, who is to say any of us visiting an Escort in Belfast, Omagh for example could not end up being very unlucky, its a big risk the whole time but okay if you got nothing much to lose.
Was never a fan of this meme, seems appropriate here though.

One thing I can't understand about the new law. If now it's not illegal to be an escort in the North surely that means that any earnings should be declared to Her Majesty. So working as an escort is legal and the money earned should be declared in tax returns ???
I make this point because of a previous posters example of prohibition in America. Al Capone was the mastermind at that , and in the end he got caught for tax evasion because they couldn't prove anything else.
Apply the logic here in the escort world night not prove what might be going on but revenue will always get you. The people I always fear most are the Revenue Commissioners both in my business and personal life they are paid up to date in full and no corners cut.
So while everyone thinks nothing is happening all is quiet and normal I think it is policing itself. Marching season too they have been too busy for the last 3/4 months dealing with residents and getting ready for it. Same every year. Quieter times ahead though when that's over.
" Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”
Not sure if they were tied up with the tall ships, didn't see anymore police than should be at an event like that but I visited a girl and it just felt like normal. No police about, no one lurking the streets watching for people visiting girls for 30 mins etc.....
As has been mentioned the law is unenforceable and if the psni where dead against it as well as David Ford, the justice minister from what I understand, then they will priorities the already under resourced psnis jobs.
Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die
