If I saw €150 on the floor - my first reaction would be to see an apparition of a beautiful escort- then reality.. My fecking Catholic upbringing would force me to turn it over to the authorities- however the apparition of the escort would stay with me and bring a smile to my face...

So far I'm extremelly lucky in this regard.

    - Left my bag with 1600 or thereabouts Irish Pounds (yeah that long ago) plus my passports and lots of other papers in Roches Stores in Patrick Street in Cork. Came back in tears 15 min later and my bag was at the cash registrered brought bt someone, nothing was missing.
    - Lost my wallet about 3 years ago while travelling in the night to Dublin 2 where I was supposed to work. Had a booking early next day with a lovely / still around / forum member his birthday was on that day. I thought I better go down and buy some things I need plus a few nice treats for the birthday boy, I realised I have no wallet, no cash, no cards, needless to say that booking went rapidly downhill as I couldn't stop whinning about my wallet not necessarily because of the money they were only a few hundred euro, but because I felt guilty not being able to offer even a glass of coke to someone I much respected that booked me weeks in advance. Well, anyhow, 3 months later a Garda rings my private phone telling me I could go collect my wallet from a certain Garda Station. Not even a cent was missing
    - My Iphone 6 recently felt down of my back pocket. Someone follows me in the crowd (temple bar) and handed it to me. It was a roma gypsy man, the kind you would be afraid may steal your phone, not give it back to you he clearly was a lovely decent man.

To answer your question, Abby, yes, I would defo return money, objects if found, as clearly someone may realise they lost it and will look for them.

You should have had your smartphone parked in your butt pocket as everyone does and the
money somewhere safe. Great that you got another go. X

No, not that amount, I've often kept a tenner or a score but 150, that's a good chunk of somones wages, and all the more incentive to hand it in if you find it in a shop
I WAS SENT BY HIM WHO IS CALLED I AM
