Been there.
Tried a bottle of vodka every night, made it worse.
Tried binging on escorts...very temporary solution.
Talking to a good counsellor and working your way through it, not easy but got sorted, and got back together!
Still enjoy a drink and see an odd escort though.;

Seeing a counsellor would help a lot but even admitting you need help means you are one tiny step closer to being better, so well done. I disagree with the comments about someone fully qualified. Someone very good with people and having strong psychotherapy & psychology notions, is not necessarily someone with a million of diploma on his / her wall, could be also someone forming to become one.
Just in case you have the time, it may be worth reading about love from a new age /spiritual point of view. Googles things such as “twin souls”, “soul mates (in context of the new age definition, not the normal understanding of the notion).
If you, even at a small extent, learn to open your mind and believe that us, as spiritual beings, are not meant to be together for good with our twin flame until we are not ready cumulating a lot of what we have to learn from our personal earthy experiences that we built up in all our lives (yes, I said lives), than all becomes a little easier to accept certain bad experiences.
And I’m going through the assumption that you indeed have encounter your twin flame but it could be as easily someone like a spiritual soulmate, one of the many “peas” from the same pod where we got created as energy. Or simply just someone that appears in your life to simply open your eyes to some more experiences and understandings you have to go through before meeting your one special twin flame.
Sorry, I really simplified the information here and therefore it may seem a bit chaotic and perhaps crazy. But if you have the time to do a bit of research and reading, with an open mind, trust me, you won’t need any therapist, you’ll be able to work all your issues yourself. The simple belief that we need to learn from a lot of experiences to become what we should become, plus the fact that it’s never “over” and there is someone certainly there for us in the end it’s more powerful than anything I have encountered myself in my own personal problems.
