Sad sad tragedy, I had J-1 visa too, I know what does that mean, but coming to such conclusion what NY times "journalist" did is just disgusting, disgrace

Hope those who are still in critical condition will recover soon.
A heartless article by the NYT, I believe they have been apologising & back tracking since! Not a good article by them at all, fair play to Mary for putting them straight.

Still find it hard to take in, such a waste of life over what seems to be a building company cutting corners to cut costs

I dont read newpapers or watch the news, havent done for years.
When I hear of a news story that is of interest to me, I use different websites to source info as well as discuss with some friends, then make my mind up using my own common sense & gut instinct

The New York Times will not take down article from website. It says that taking it down would be against organisations policies and regulations.

It is controversal alright. Probably don't or wont recognise the trouble they have stirred up. Are probably writing for their

readership over there and what they want. Sad but maybe true

Considering how many Irish & Irish descendants there are in America, I'm surprised.
I hate that feckin excuse as well, its against our policies. How about fuckin changing them & showing some compassion
I hope there is a huge backlash to this.
