Who takes the wedding ring off ??!

Just asking out of curiosity. Personally mine comes off, maybe I'm being over sensitive or something but I feel better if it's not there looking up at me. Of course there is the "branding" which remains - that circular indentation around the ring finger which remains for ages after the ring is removed. Does it really matter, if you're going to cheat on your wife, then there is no principal to the question, just make sure you have it back on before you go home.
