The name Rachel likely comes from a Hebrew word meaning "ewe"(as in female sheep)

The last wedding I went to did not go well

• The Bride and Groom did not know each other and had only communicated by the internet.
• The Groom, not the Bride’s family, had to pay for everything.
• The pictures the Groom had seen of the Bride were photoshopped, and were years old.
• The Groom was old, fat, ugly and was socially clueless.
• The Groom was late, not able to find his way to the church because the bride had given him poor directions, and he has a poor sense of direction anyhow.
• The Bride's phone rang constantly throughout the service.
• There were problems with the wedding register; the Bride claimed she is Spanish, her passport says she is Romanian.
• When the Bride went to change, she was replaced by a different woman.
• Twenty minutes into the wedding night, and the Bride is looking for a divorce.
• The Groom placed an ad in the Church Gazette, rubbishing the wedding, the Bride, her appearance and her sexual performance. [The Gazette later deleted the ad when the Bride complained.]

The hotel also spoilt the wedding night.
They had only two Bridal Suites, but had booked in three couples, so the third couple banged doors and made a racket to disrupt the others so they could get a room.
