Calling bullshit on the ici’s ‘escort immigration’ figures

The Immigrant Council of Ireland is an absolute disgrace. They were also responsible for the '90 victims of trafficking' article in the local press in Galway last year. If their claims were about any other aspect of society they wouldn't be allowed to get away with it.
It was also striking that the articles published in the Irish Times and the Irish Independent on Monday were exactly the same in both papers. They even used the same stock photo of a street worker. Articles like that should be labelled as propaganda by the editors.
But this will keep happening until the law is introduced here too.

What amazes me is that they waste time on this when there are hundreds if not tens of thousands of immigrants who desperately need their help. What with being trapped in hostels,not allowed to work or earn a living, putting a strain on our national purse. A strain that this useless law if brought south will only worsen.
