Why do we long for sex so much?

Many males are genetically programmed to dislike their woman straying (don't want to raise someone else's children)
But will stray themselves with other women (spreading their genes- in their genetic interest)
Women don't like their male straying because he's spending his effort somewhere else and not concentrating on helping bring up her children (her genes).
Then there Is a theory, that some women may be attracted to alpha/uber males, have a fling and resulting child with them but return to another male who may make a better father.These things often being done subconsciously.
A woman has to invest far more effort in producing a child.
A male can spread his wild oats more freely with possibly no comeback to him.
Genetically , it has been in a males interest to wander and at the same time prevent his female partner from wandering.Hence the double standard.
Speaking on a purely biological level where the production of offspring is the goal.

Had you ever considered that could be down to jealousy? A woman who has conformed to the ideology of 'society' or 'religion' all her life, despite her natural desires, or needs is going to feel resentment to the woman who doesn't deny herself the pleasures she wants.

It's a case of redressing the balance. You're not allowed to be that person and it is so completely ingrained that the very thought of a woman having sex with multiple men is sickening to the point that if discovered, then you would have to burn the bed, even if no one actually got into it for what it symbolises.

It is amazing just how much contempt a person can have for another when sex is involved and I'm afraid that contempt tends to be pointed at the female species more than the man and we're not even as messy as you guys!!!!

the moral if there is one, is that if one wants to live a liberated life, they have to either escape or ignore the herd. difficult, because you will get socially castrated, but no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself

Contempt for clients is pretty high too. And all I ever paid for was time and companionship.

people as well in capitalistic economies are inherently bred as competitive. when they see someone doing well or enjoying themselves they naturally feel envious. We can all remember being young and trying to be the most in demand. A lot grow out of this phase, but a lot dont.
