Cameron doesn't necessary want to leave the EU, he just want a better deal for the UK and this will probably help Ireland too. His main gripe is about the free movement of EU members. He's not against it per say, but more about the droves of certain nationalities migrating to the UK and Ireland to access the generous Welfare systems in these countries.

Cameron has absolutely no interest in how many people come into Ireland.
As for renegotiating with the EU he will get a few minor concessions. The main demand which is a change to the free movement of labour is non negotiable. This is just not Germany. To my knowledge no other country in the EU is in favour.

Emm the U.S,France, USSR, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Yugoslavia....... all fought the Nazis in WW2 and Russia pretty much won the war single handly if anything Russia is still putting up two fingers to Germany/Europe now

Don't forget that Japan were also a major player in the war. It was the Americans who fought their way Island by Island through the South Pacific.

I was comparing our generous welfare system to theirs and is the reason our economies is so attractive to the other EU nationals that have less interest in joining the labour force than joining the dole queues!!

He's looking to make a distinction between someone freely moving to join the labour force and one that wants to avail of a more favorable welfare system.

Because he is one of those rare politicians, a man of his word. He said that he would resign the leadership if he failed to win his seat. The commons will be poorer without him being present.

Yes he failed to win the seat, the seat he thought was nailed on, The wheels fell off the wagon for UKIP, a lot of people didn’t support their idea’s and ignorant beliefs

That aint much to live on but thats the idea, they want you to get off your arses and work but my friend says that all training courses and back to work schemes have been scraped due to no money.
Didnt he say he wasn't going to touch welfare, but another lie , health budget will be cut and poor old northern ireland will suffer big time now
