Exactly, what I suspect has happened is that on previous occasions they have been given a warning, but maybe this time the Gardaí have had enough. There was a similar case in Letterkenny either last year or the year before, a girl kept coming back & working in Letterkenny, even though the judge told her not to. If I remember correctly, she was eventually given a jail sentence.

Usually in these cases the money phones computers are confiscated and the girls are run out of town. The judge probably wanted to maintain his/her image as a hard ass for the local press
