Think the girls got the wrong judge on this occasion, a new judge there as the other man has retired

I know I'm a bit late coming to this, but I have a fair idea why this happened. Back in February there was a report in the local newspaper about an incident in that well known house. Can't remember exactly happened but a couple of Brazilian guys visiting the town called that house and the girls had to call the Gardaí to get rid of them. The guys ended up in court.
The girls were not arrested, sounded like they were rightly treated as victims in the case.
This case highlighted the fact the house was in use by girls so the town do-gooders started complaining.
The Gardaí and courts had to show that they don't turn a blind eye to what was going on and made an example of the two poor girls who happened to be there when they raided.

but house is well known hotspot and was raided several times and I believe there just a new Judge in in the area too

On a serious note, he was from the old school and was a fair bit ignorant, he once called the Tyrone people 'thick' in court.
They are not thick just misunderstood

Must of been a complaint from punter must've been happy or some neighbour in an apartment complex is enough to set the ball rolling here
