Respect is a two way thing my friend and should never be taken for granted.

I know some Escorts double book due to timewasters, but double booking when you have a deposit? That's bloody rude.

Have only once met an escort scammer bout a year ago who came across from England (but was not English)and spent a short time here with her husband/pimp hidden in the background. You would meet her but she would try and extract mobile phones, laptops (pricey ones of course) and as much money as she thought she might get from you using sob stories.Every other escort I have met has appeared totally honest and above board but then I live and die by reviews.
I have never been asked for a deposit and would find it so unusual that I would probably pass.

I have an update that will make most of you laugh, the lady in question contacted me this morning to tell me that she lost her lap top and that she had no access to the money I sent. And if I would resend to a new email address she would make it worth my while. Must think I've got shit for brains.
So I've been a bit sneaky, and contacted the fraud department on Amazon who were handling the money transfer, and also contacted her to tell her that Amazon are willing to resend the funds if she makes contact with them. Otherwise they will give me the money and not her. Hopefully she falls for it.

Just two quick points.

1. If she is reading these postings then she will be aware of what you are doing and you will have failed before you start.

2 She has probably already accessed the money that you sent earlier so she is aware that Amazon won't be refunding her under any circumstances.

Also another point she doesn't think that you've "got shit for brains" .....................she knows exactly what sort of brains you have.

Now off you go..............and be a good boy and send that nice lady some more money.

Why not name and shame this scammer? So to help make others aware not to fall for her scambag antics.

That is, IF this is even a genuine person. It could be anyone sitting behind a pc, using stolen pictures and running this scam over multiple websites and cities at the same time.

You've had your fingers burnt but at least you can take experience from this and not fall for it again

ya know, I'm sure this lucrative scamming business would be dealt a blow if there were a lot of fake enquiries and booking requests being made, certainly slow down the scamming of genuine punters......not that Im suggesting anything of course

I have had reason to contact backpage, they respond very quickly to any concerns.
Have you informed them?

Deposit if paid imo should not be more then 10% same as you would pay a builder.

I think that depends on the situation. If I had to travel a distance, I would make sure my travel costs were covered in the deposit, whatever they might be.
