What about national stereotypes? I guess they get earned by reputation but do you think it is appropriate to prejudge someone because of their nationality?

The Irish are drunks. The Mexicans are lazy. The Brits are hooligans. The French are snobs. The Italians are corrupt. And on and on and on.

most people I know that have opinions about 'nationalities' have never really known anyone of that nationality, at least not in am intelligent way. They like to 'borrow' the opinions of others as it is easier than finding one's own experience. and What is what with the Romanian digs...are you inferring Gypsies,,,,Roma....??? there was a man in the 20's, 30's that had similar stereotypes...wake up and realize that we have more in common than not. Each of us trying to get thru each day with a roof over our heads, food in our belly's and a life for our children. Lauren
