Do you married guys want to be single. And do you single guys want to be married???
Same can be asked of the girls about husbands/boyfriends.

I was married for 25 yrs and happy for most of it.
3 great kids and running a business takes most of the time.
When the kids grow up and business slows down you realise what you have and haven't got.
Single now for 7 years and never happier.
My own boss and only myself to answer to.
I see an escort once a week for sex and only sex
I can get all the companionship I want in civvy land.
I have had some success ( for a bald ugly fucker) with the ladies
In civvy street , but ask myself do I want the hassle , the restrictions on the freedom
and all that goes with a relationship.
As of now I don't , if I meet a special lady maybe , but I'm not looking too hard.
I did date a Russian lady 20 years my junior for 6 months and it was great.
She really knew how to look after a man ( Vegas wake up calls regularly)

No I have 3 fabulous kids , 3 grandkids and I really appreciate the feeling of having to answer to no one.

Maybe you didn't allow each other enough space ? I think its important that both people can enjoy doing things independently of the other and not have to account for themselves all of the time.
