    He got off on a technicality, I wonder would people feel the same if he killed a pedestrian while drunk and got off because the read out wasn't in Irish, but no, no well fucking done to the scumbag for getting off on a technicality

    Most drunk drivers in Ireland are Irish and in the past many have gotten off on technicalities with the help of solicitors.
    And in the dim and maybe not so distant past some may even have had the charge quashed by a friendly police sergeant/superintendent(even if not meant to be done. ).

    That bothers the shit out of me because the person isn't held accountable and next time he might go drink driving and kill someone
