Well, this question is really for the guys but I'm just going to add my opinion like some other girls..
I always offer a choice of non alcoholic drinks to my date on arrival... water, juice, coca cola, watever they prefer, it's nice to be nice and it does help to break the ice and helps the person relax.
For dinner dates and overnight bookings.. why not enjoy a glass of wine Or champagne ??
It's probably easier for us resident girls rather than a touring girl to have a selection of drinks, in the end it's really up to the girl to decide how she deals with her dates and we all have or own way of doing things..

As they say Larissa, variety is the spice of life I have to say though that when visiting the Garden of Eden your hospitality is always exceptional.

I would agree with you that it is probably easier for the likes of yourself to have a range of soft drinks on offer compared to a lady who is touring. As I mentioned in an earlier post travelling around the country with a load of drinks along with everything else is not very practical or easy. This will be one reason why I would not expect to be offered a drink when visiting a lady. Having said that it is always very nice to be offered one but at the end of the day that is not the main reason why I am there.

I think from reading some of the replies it is interesting to see how many of us opt for water, whether it be a glass of tapwater or a chilled bottle of spring water as you always offer.
