    Call me a old cynic or whatever but I couldn't help but think of this in the Irish context- a farmer goes into town to buy cattle and goes on a drinking session for three days, a more disturbing development was having young children on his knee, the poor wife scolds him on his return and has to listen to his crap- the sellers of the cattle will not give him first refusal next time as commerce has not room for emotions etc-

    Just a view from a different perspective !
