    Italian GP at Monza Qualifying. Race Tomorrow (Sunday) at 13:00

    • Hamilton on pole,
    • Raikkonen 2nd,
    • Vettel 3rd
    • Rosberg 4th, after changing back to older engine after having trouble with upgraded one.

    This is Mercedes’ 23rd pole position in succession, one short of Williams' all-time 24, set over the 1992/93 seasons.

    This is also Lewis Hamilton’s seventh pole in succession. The record is held by Ayrton Senna [eight]

    Ferrari qualify second and third in Italy.
    And the iceman cometh, he out-qualifies Sebastian Vettel. Last time Kimi qualified second was at the Chinese Grand Prix in 2013.

    Might have a chance with Nico Rosberg’s engine trouble, but with Lewis Hamilton’s new engine upgrade, there is a big difference between the new Mercedes engine and the Ferraris. Can’t see Lewis being beaten unless he makes a mistake or has a problem. Lewis has had, however, some pretty poor starts in some of the recent races....
