Gossip is bad enough when you're hearing it. When it's about you and it's not to you face it's an awful lot worse.
Why do people think they have the right to do it?

When it comes down to it, people are the most interesting subject and emotive in the world. Holiday snaps of fabulous place are boring without the people in them. How do they look, what are they doing, who are they with etc. Everyone from brain surgeons to toilet cleaners are interested in people and what they say and do , particularly those whom they know. Its only human. The more sensational or sordid the details, the mores the better.

Wanting to add untruths to make a better titbit and then passing it on to others to let it grow legs is a different kettle of fish.

Really? I love beautiful scenery, sunrises & sunsets so dont agree with the highlighted section.
Although obviously people are interesting & I love hearing peoples stories of life experiences, I dont think everyone likes or appreciates idol gossip.
