I ordered tonight from a Jewish restaurant, a vegetarian dinner. It was great. Hummus, salad, feta cheese, falafel, pita and as a desert baklava.

    DELICIOUS!!!

Fortunately that is now a common misconception, you can even get free range veal now.

But you really would struggle to find a calf force fed with milk anywhere.

    Tell me more ?

Anybody familiar with this ? xx

The Paleo diet is an effort to eat like a caveman did. It basically means if it can't be gotten in the wild, you don't eat it. So Dairy, Grains (wheat, barley, rye, spelt, oats, popular breakfast cereals etc. and anything that comes from them like bread, pasta, noodles etc.), and Legumes (Peanuts, Peas, Soy Beans, other Beans etc.) are things you avoid.

It's not for everyone, however I like it but I have been called a Nutritional Nazi quite a few times. I enjoy the fact that everything I put in my mouth has just a single ingredient, no E numbers, artificial thickeners, stabilizers, sweeteners, processed oils etc. Not to mention countless people have had large success in clearing up health problems naturally with it.

A Ketogenic diet then is a low carbohydrate, but high protein and high fat diet. It's funny all the popularity of the Low Fat diet, when really a very low carbohydrate diet but high fat diet works far better for losing bodyfat - example. It's an experiment of mine at the moment, and it seems to be working, I'm well on my way to having visible abs - another few kilos and I'll be there.

And yeah, Sauerkraut is a new favorite of mine. Shame though I ran out of it yesterday, and while I've two jars of cabbage fermenting in my kitchen now, I'll have to wait another 5 or so days for them to be ready.

I love mutton (Kathmandu or Any Style) , but early on in my days in Dub I had some lamb and it just tasted so Lamb-y !

    Like really gamey.

Been turned off it ever since , until last week (by accident) I bought some , and it's sort of okey-ish ..

Couple of days ago got some piggie ribs (yumm) , this evening it's sirloin (was picking up some bones for pups ,

what can I say ? Can't resist a good looking slab of meat ...)

(but I'm still not happy with the cuts )

    Tell me , what's your preference ?

*and yes , my mainstay would be fish and chicken and sea creatures ***

they are not kept in crates and force fed milk any more , they are kept in groups of 6 or more bedded on straw , they are also fed hay and meals . Julia Bradury hosted a series of programes for BBC called Kill It Cook It Eat It which showed the calf rearing the calf being killed the calf being butchered being cooked and being eaten. The programe should be availbe to watch on the bbc iplayer if you want to see it.
