We have seen that prohibited heroin is destructive in society, that is what prohibition
sets out to do. If you can't stop it, ruin, sabotage anyone interested in it.
If heroin were given to addicts, clean and cheap, it wouldn't be such an issue in society.
They'd still be addicted and it would still ruin their lives, might live a bit longer thats all, is there such thing as a functioning heroin addict.

I'd much rather see my kid holding a cig than a piece of foil. Although obviously I wouldnt want either.

Yes there is but for all the 100's of heroin addicts I came in contact with when volunteering I only met one & in all honesty havent seen him for years so dont know whether he is still functioning or not. As unlike cigs & the known health implications, heroin is volatile.

The functioning addict was a university lecturer at the time! If that adds anything to the confused debate!

    Default statement

The reason the people in the pictures are doing what they are doing is the same. One is no more moral, IMO.
