    Default Something going round...

I have only started to recover from a 5 day long illness of what my father calls, the man flu.
Has anybody else been feeling these symptoms?

    1. Tiredness
    2. Weakness
    3. Bad Chest (coughs and heavy)
    4. Unable to eat
    5. Vomiting, but nothing coming out because of number 4.
    6. Dizzy spells
    7. Pains all over body
    8. Hot and Cold sweats

I have felt pretty much like shit and don't wish this on anybody, but for those who have been feeling like this or has had this "man flu", what have you done to help recover quickly and have you taken anything for it?
What about "mum's" home recipe? Is there one you can share with us?

I am feeling much better than I did before, but still currently still experiencing 3, 6 and 8.

man flu is a way of saying you have a common cold, but to make you feel better they add in the word flu for pussys who think they have the flu because its nothing like a propper flu but a bit worse than a typical common cold. the cure is to htfu.

antibiotics dont work for virial infections, so by taking them (and the doctor giving them when you dont actually need them means they are fast becoming useless and if you (as a people) keep taking them we might be back to dying of the common cold or similar again in the future

Just glad that whiskey was put in there and not something else
Been taking tablets to help, so I don't think a drink is allowed just as yet.

Had all that a week ago, except for the vomiting. A 12 pack of Lemsip Cold & Flu capsules and some cough medicine did the trick. Was gone in 3 or 4 days.

Did you know that man flu is actually real.
You can't make this stuff up, well you probably could, but I didn't

I had the chance to use the sauna in the house, but I just couldn't even be bothered to even to do that, my laziness was a part of that.
Not mine by the way, family members.

    Hi Floki
when i have the man flu
i just want to curl up in the fetal position
    and go to bed
    then i want my mommy
to make me nice things to eat and to tuck me in
and tell me every think is going to be ok
but if you can't do that
best thing is to get up and take it
i find once you are up and moving around
    its not so bad
all so flu pills are very good these days
no need for a doctor prescription
i don't know if they have day and night where you are
    but they are very good
    so get well soon
