he very quickly realised what he had done too going by the lipread when he talks to his security guy at the end (before he goes backstage after her, and saying "fuck!!" as he has his back to the camera after he turned round and realised it was a girl just before this)

the jist i got from him in the van afterwards was he normally gigs later in the evening,
after he's eaten and 'medicated'. many substances out there, there's no regulations, really.
