Trust me , the village my property is in ...........there'd be plenty of em (not Romanian , but Romani) xx

On Village Day it's Romani music that's played , on any social occasion it's Romani music and fashion that's favoured.

By all that , just being around , could almost be 'honorary' so n so .



I would love to go to Romania , and have a different (the whole !!) picture of the country.

From where I'm standing , it's not pretty , and I knoooooow , it's not the whole picture :

Gypsy are a ethnic group (3.3% from entire population) who live in Romania and have Indian origin , and romanians are the population of Romania(88.9 % from entire population) who come from : Dacians (Getae, Thracians) and Roman Empire ,legionnaires and colonists.

Great post !!! That's so true, and not just Romania has a gypsy community, I think every country has it. They are just called differently, like in Ireland the travellers.
