if you pay, then there is a payment linked to a user account, and you are no longer anonymous. Even with an IP address, you can have any number of housemates using the same IP address.... Stop wasting time on what ifs, and get hunting.

There are many ways of paying anonymously and any member is trackable through their IP adress. However, you miss my point. The object of the exercise would be to have all the gory details hidden from public view.

Has the growing number of massage therapists not got something to do with this new law? If you visit a massage therapist for a massage, how would it be possible for the police to prove that you paid for sex? How would anyone know what happened when you were with the therapist, assuming that she is not going to claim that she had sex with you for money and you claim that you only paid for the massage? Escorts will tell you that there are men who visit them and do not have sex. If you are questioned all that you have to do is claim that you only paid for a massage.
My understanding is that you would have an entitlement to sue the police for damages if they seriously damage your reputation by wrongfully accusing you of a crime.

But they would probably be right !!
