You should really highlight the bit where I said, "Their rationale is that...". The Nordic Model has been implemented under the guise of an 'anti-trafficking' law, but it is commonly accepted within the sex industry that this is a moral, religious issue, given that the DUP in the north and Ruhama in the Republic are pushing for it.

No, he is agreeing that they cannot investigate you for something that wasn't a crime at the time you did it.

Peeps need to take it easy. If clients get frightened and don't visit escorts, post here, and leave reviews as normal, then the escorts' income will dry up and a lot will leave.

Now, and after June, we need to carry on as normal, and just be discreet, which we should be anyway.
If they are going to enforce this law, as has been said here before, and the way it has been enforced in Sweden, it will be by watching known places escorts work out of.

Bit unrealistic to believe, even if they could, legally and technically, they would trawl through here to try to obtain any sort of evidence.

Anything before new law is fine it's every day after that . And I'm sure people in power visit ladies look at DSk for eg. They can stop this law but they will keep their heads down.

It's a bit like you cannot be prosecuted for smoking in a bar before the smoking ban was inforced.

Too many lick arses and sheep in Ireland that have no back bone but the law is the law whether you like it or not, I don't but if caught you will be punished and made an example of, if you free and single it may be not too bad for you but if married or in a relationship its different. I couldn't care less now as its coming in anyway and Ireland is becoming one expensive shit hole and fed up with it all
    Damn right, sheep....

On a lighter note though and if what you say is true even of they were to start a criminal investigation on merely the posts on a forum, JC's solicitor could also point out threads he's made about who has the best ass, just because he posted fiddles mc gee has the best ass doesn't make it true.

I agree with most of what you've said, but I do think it could be made clearer to people when they first register that, once they sign up, they can never delete their account again. This was certainly not stated obviously when I registered - I'm sure it was in the small print somewhere, but that's exactly my point.

I would have thought much longer and harder about registering if I knew (i) this would soon become illegal and (ii) I would not be able to shut down my account and walk away.

Please note that we are happy to ban people on request, but we aren't going to delete all your history. For one, escorts get really annoyed with us if we delete their reviews regardless of the circumstances, and secondly, it is nigh on impossible to delete all your posts and find any quoted posts, and the threads don't make sense. Thirdly and finally, you are responsible for your own discretion when signing up.

Obviously there will be a few smart-arse responses with protestations as to why we shouldn't cover your backs, but it stands all the same.

Also, they are not going to trawl through your internet history to obtain evidence you are likely to smoke in bars.
