So no-one thinks it's absolutely insane that we cannot delete our own posts or delete any trace of our presence on a website? Are we just brushing that under the carpet or the hell? Would I have to hire a solicitor based the UK to delete my posts? I would have to go through legal proceedings just to have posts deleted? Why not give the posters the tools to do it?

P.S Look at what happened to Cylde and he wasn't breaking any laws and he got fucked under a bus and then ran over by a JCB

Please note that we are happy to ban people on request, but we aren't going to delete all your history. For one, escorts get really annoyed with us if we delete their reviews regardless of the circumstances, and secondly, it is nigh on impossible to delete all your posts and find any quoted posts, and the threads don't make sense. Thirdly and finally, you are responsible for your own discretion when signing up.

Obviously there will be a few smart-arse responses with protestations as to why we shouldn't cover your backs, but it stands all the same.

Sam (on behalf of the Forums Team).
Sam I think you need to check this. Like any company EI has obligations under the data protection act and the data retention act to protect customer sensitive data and to destroy it after a period of time, irrespective of how difficult it
May be because of how you have designed your systems . So if you have customer data like this you need to check your obligations like any company. Your cockiness about smart arses may come back to bite you.

They are not based in Ireland so the data protection act is irrelevant.
I still don't see why anyone cares.
It's not a crime to be here.
If that changes in the future, anything you've written now cannot be considered.

    So why does anyone care?

well actually the UK has a very similar data protection act and it doesn't matter where your customers reside they still have the same obligations. You are probably right though bigger things to get exercised about here.

That's data protection, not things that are posted in the public domain under an anonymous pseudonym. I'm not being cocky or a smart ass, I am telling people to apply some common sense.

    Oh, and goodbye, Xman69
