Yes, I note he goes on to say they will implement it as best they can. They only have to suspect there are illegal activities, ie brothel keeping, to do surveillance now. Im interested to see how they will separate that.

"50 year old Damien with an address in swindles town".

The question is, will you be "that" person. After that I really can't see the gardai doing much more, after all they have more important things to do like stopping school children in the pissing rain cycling to school at 8am on foothpaths....

That's why it's been done, after all. Particulary in Ireland. It's more about deterring because God knows they can't catch anyone legitimately.

They obviously think this law is a waste of time too

"One of the central arguments put by those who are opposed to the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Bill has been that the police are opposed to the sixth clause of the legislation, which would make it a criminal offence to pay for sex," he said.

Only because they are at it and all lol

something to remember is it doesnt have to be proven it just has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt (if it looks like an orange smells like an orange and tastes like an orange....its probably an orange) sort of thinking, something to remember before you perger yourself later in court.

How many judges use escorts ? All squeaky clean I doubt it. I think there will be no law passed this side of Xmas 2015 and should it get delayed there will be a general election and possibly a change of government. Is a new government going to introduce another party's bill no chance it will be subject to changes. Is paying for sex such a crime? Compared to murder, drug trafficking, terrorism. So you get your rocks off with an attractive lady in her apartment and you pay her....big deal. Get a life Minister of justice.

Well strictly speaking it will be illegal to pay for sex, but I would think it almost impossible to prove what you invited someone to your home for.

I do hope that if Escorts decide to do outcalls that they don't arrive empty handed and bring some sort of gift with them for us.
