I went in to a Mercedes garage today and told him that the Dacia garage down the road was half the price with regards their hourly rate.
I was surprised when the service manager told me to "F#@k off and buy a Dacia then ,if you cant afford the Mercedes you prefer to be seen in"

But yeah, one of the beauties of writing your own is that you don't have to have a Bridge if you don't want it, that wouldn't be a reason to give up.
