I'm sure you worked this out by now, but anchovies are very salty and I don't like them, but they are often used as an ingredient in place of salt.

I had them on pizza -- once !! -- a long time ago. Never again !!

They're used in Caesar's salad dressing too though , and that's delish xx

I will keep an open mind in relation to anchovies then, I could yet develop a taste for them, in another form.

I guess it's the difference between being given a whole peppercorn to eat or a sprinkle to taste in the meal itself.
