According to Dublin Fianna Fáil Councillor Jim O’Callaghan:
"DCC can’t stop a march. The purpose of the motion is to give the elected representatives of Dublin an opportunity to express their views."
Apart from the March being seen as provocative in itself, it just gives an opportunity for the usual band of idiots to go out and create mayhem on the streets.
Let's just hope that the cold weather persists here a little longer and keep the boys away

Loyalist campaigner Willie Frazer has confirmed that the planned Love Ulster march will not go ahead in Dublin next Saturday.
Mr Frazer said he has received assurances from government officials that information will be provided to the inquest into the Kingsmill massacre in which ten Protestant workmen were shot dead in 1976.
But Mr Frazer said that if this commitment was not honoured then another, bigger march would be held in Dublin at a later date.
No problem if they did want to march in Dublin.
But in return the Nationalists should march along the Shankill, wearing green and carrying tricolour and pictures of the Pope.
"Parity of esteem" as unionists were fond of saying a few years ago.
