i think them changes were to be expected, especially sexton and heaslip. O brien must have recovered from his hamstring injury, hope he can last most of the game this time. Sexton was training all the time, just non contact, so he should be fit. Its hard luck on ian keatley to be out of the squad altogether, but madigan is probably more of a utility player.

French will target Sexton early and often to test any weakness that may be there. Keatley will be fine, had a very good outing last day. Just needs to keep working hard now and the opportunities will come again. Schmidt picks the team to suit the game he is playing and the opposition he is playing. Therefore players will get opportunities under such a system.
France have always had the ability to step up to the mark almost overnight. They could be playing rubbish and then a spark comes from someplace and then play magnificently. We need to be cautious about this.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say France will beat Ireland. Lots of people watch Ireland play but dont bother with the other 6 nations matches and think if they can beat Italy they can beat France. Ireland were very slow last week and only scored crucial tries when there was a sin bin incident. France looked stronger and faster when playing Scotland and have upped their game from last season.

I hope your wrong but it will be a very tight game and I think Ireland will just about shade it.
France are very stong in midfield and I think that,s why he put Robbie no. 12 to to cut at Fofana and hope to get over the gain break. Payne will have his hands full with Bastareaud and I think this is where the game will be won or lost!!!
