Seems so but if anyone can see the information I am looking for regarding location being only allowed to be mentioned on the chat forums by a select few please let me know thanks.

The thread that you have just responded to honey belonging to me last night in which I got banned, others are allowed to respond to it but I am not as it comes up telling me the administrator is not allowing access to me to this thread, just everyone else. But I am blocked. And in fact I did not get to post my thread in response last night as as soon as I pressed send, up on the screen came telling me I was banned, did not even get a email till I was allowed to sign into EI this morning so I am guessing EI was aware due to this persons so called fun, having a laugh at my expense by the person who calls herself "the EI pease maker" they were fully aware I would respond to it.

Totally get why people will not post on the chat forms or register with the site if this is the way one is treated.

It would seem very odd to me that a user could be blocked from a single thread — vBulletin does not normally allow such orders!

    What? That is unreal

Why on earth should a thread starter be blocked from replying to their own thread? That makes no sense whatsoever!!!!

Granted, it is widely accepted that some members of EI either receive preferential treatment or have a different set of rules which they must abide by but I have never seen such censorship as being blocked from ones own thread!

Maybe is due to these preferential treatment of this particular person honey who provoked me, and they and other members are allowed only to respond only as seem to be the case as like I said already tried and the admin screen tell me I am not allowed to post on the thread I started. baffled like many about this whole situation.

But surely the Mods and Admins on EI would not have such low standards as to operate a two-tier system? I thought this was a seriously professional forum, with rules and standards! That is what is portrayed.

This must be a glitch — it s just a pity there is no one around to sort it!

I have reopened this thread to address this.

We don't offer a two-tier system. Ladyvonteese has been TOLD exactly what the situation was. She started a rant thread two nights ago about some misinformation she had and I nipped it in the bud and banned her overnight for her to cool her jets. I have no evidence of this accusation either as the details of this have never been clear.

The following day, I lifted the ban and we had a very amicable PM conversation about this. I also asked Ladyvonteese not to advertise her location anywhere but the advertising section, as per advertising terms and conditions. Now, because I didn't see a PM that she sent me last night after office hours of which she was complaining about an escort advertising her location, she has taken it upon herself to demonise my team for not being proactive enough. I have also asked her to REPORT the post, three times in PM conversations this morning, as did Nicole who she also went to regarding this, and STILL, she has NOT reported anything and continued to argue as to why sending me a link to a thread with 80 responses is adequate enough to report something rather than use the facilities to do so.

After all that, this issue was regarding an escort stating that she was in ANOTHER COUNTRY.

If people want to try and challenge things on a public level, at least have reason to challenge it and make sure that you put things into CONTEXT first. This tactic has long passed its sell by date.

I have to confess, since writing this, I have seen that the escort Ladyvonteese was referring to did mention an Irish location she was in, as well as some references made towards winding her up. We stumbled upon all of this whilst going through another pointless thread, and this reinforces that if there is a problem, REPORT IT, as this could have been removed within seconds this morning rather than wasting a good portion of my day playing 'find the posts'.

Believe it or not, we don't read EVERYTHING that is posted on the forums, we have other duties too. People need to stop assuming that we know everything and submit a report with some context attached to it.

Just to clarify this also. We do not have a function to block somebody from an individual thread, so obviously this argument is completely redundant also. The thread was deleted, meaning that NOBODY has access to it.
