Thankfully though I don't have any social media, I don't ever watch TV, and I choose what I read/see on the internet.. So I don't really get exposed to any of the over commercialization of occasions like Valentine's Day, Xmas etc.

I am working on the 14th and wife is away for the weekend with her sister visiting relations in GB. I assume they forgot the date was Valentines weekend when they booked it.

Over commercialised bollocks, but given the circumstances I'll hope to have some fun and frolics after work.
