Ended up sticking out the rain , waited for good weather.

Well , good weather where I was at least : on the drive up encountered heavy rain , then snowstorm so severe , ended up

having to pull over (driving with Irish summer tires an' all ) x didn't get soaked though , so woohoo

Safely arrived in Calais , where now there's howling icy wind . Was hoping to go for a walk on the beach. Oh , well x

Make me wish I had stayed in the nice and cozy , x

Are the toll booths automated or are they people operated?

I am much too practical.
I would rig up a device long enough to reach over with the fee and be able to take the receipt.

LOL just had an image of me with one of those little fishing nets on poles the children use, would be fun, I wonder if the booth attendants would find that funny and play along, I would try it before going out in the rain.

Tollbooths automated , take ticket , then pay by credit card.

Don't quite see how to rig it x

I like the visuals though lol xx

Prob have better chance training doggie to fetch the ticket at least -- save me getting out once each time !
