Thread: Differences between rates for half an hour and an hour.

BTW, each to their own but if I wanted to take a girl to dinner I would ask. Half the fun of a dinner date is the nervousness, getting to know someone new on a trusting level, etc. I would get none of that really with an escort and it seems from the way you describe it as going to dinner with someone way outside your league as an ego boost which I wouldn't get had I paid the date. The sex is a biological need that I need to fill at times or I would go crazy when I haven't had sex in a while.

Yes you're probably correct.Apologies for rambling.I don't usually say too much on here!
I only ever bother with minimum 1 hour appointments myself so rarely look at the 30 minute fee. It's clear that the lady prefers 30 minute in the company of a complete stranger and charges accordingly. If I was an escort I would probably do the same.

That's cool and I said as much in the op. I just wondered do some girls even realize with the charging policy what they are pushing. Maybe that is quite naive of me but for example I would have either seen the girl tonight for half an hour so she loses out on the other half an hour business or in this particular case I decided to visit someone else.

ATEOTD it is the ladies choice what they charge as it is the clients choice who they see

I can't speak for other people but I would say the main difference between a 30 mins booking and a longer booking is the transfer between a 'physical' energy and a 'physical and mental energy'. It might not seem that way, but the mental energy is a lot more energy sapping than the physical energy and takes longer to recover from.

Personally I enjoy the mental ride, so longer bookings are good with me and I enjoy them, but... to go straight into another booking 30 mins after a 2 hour booking for instance is actually not easy, as your head space is still with the last booking. You need more time to disconnect. (When I say 'you' I mean 'me'). I could only do a couple of those in a day.

Now that brings us on to the finances. Where 2 longer bookings may fetch good money, you can generally earn more with the shorter bookings, which are much less mentally charged. Please also understand that 30 mins, doesn't necessarily mean bang, bang, bang and can vary incredibly with how physical they are, but there just isn't the time to get too mentally involved.

Sorry I posted the light hearted groundhog day thing now.............
Can we ensure Kates reply gets copied and pasted (as the 1st reply) into all future threads on the subject ?.

(Maybe that will put an end to the subject and its repetition )

Maybe they can create more client interest/demand for their 30 minute bookings by keeping the price low, than they can for their 60 minute bookings at a low price, just a thought... But like someone else said it isn't logical when you consider their showering, makeup and preparation time before and shower and refreshing etc. afterwards.
